Where they beat us
Loopy Loyalty ships a stamper app staff install on iOS and Android, and every plan includes developer API access plus Zapier and Make integrations. Our scanner runs in the browser and our public API is not built. On both counts they are ahead of us today.
Choose them if Loopy Loyalty
- You only ever want stamp cards, and you want the deepest version of that one thing.
- Your staff want an app on the home screen rather than a browser tab, and you have counters where that difference is felt every shift.
- You need loyalty events wired into other tools now, through Zapier, Make or a documented API.
Choose Fidei if
- You want points or membership cards next to stamps, without changing platform again in a year.
- You are invoiced in euros or reais and would rather not carry an FX spread on a dollar subscription.
- Your customers do not all speak English: the product itself, not only the marketing site, runs in English, French, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese.
- You need to show exactly what each member agreed to, and when, without reconstructing it.
Questions
Can I move my existing Loopy Loyalty members to Fidei?
Members re-enrol by scanning your new join code. Wallet passes cannot be transferred between issuers because each pass is signed by the platform that created it. In practice shops run both for a few weeks and stamp whichever card the customer presents. We have not built a Loopy Loyalty import, so any balances you want to preserve have to be carried across by hand or granted as an opening bonus.
Is Fidei cheaper than Loopy Loyalty?
Not at the entry tier. Loopy Loyalty starts at 25 US dollars a month; Fidei's Starter plan is 39 euros, or 49 reais in Brazil. Both figures were read off the respective sites on 20 August 2026. What differs is what each tier contains and which currency you are billed in — compare the table above rather than the headline number.
Does Fidei have a stamper app like Loopy Loyalty's?
Not as an installable app. Fidei's scanner is a web page that opens the camera, so a staff member signs in on any phone with a browser and there is no install or app-store approval involved. Making it installable with an offline queue is on our backlog and is not shipped.
Do stamps still work if there is no signal?
The stamp is recorded when your staff device reaches us, so the staff device needs a connection. The customer's phone does not — the pass is already in their wallet and updates the next time it syncs.
