Membership tiers, not stamps
Use the membership card type and let the tier do the work — Standard, Gold, Founding, whatever your levels are. Check-in is a scan at the door, which gives you attendance data you almost certainly do not have today. Attendance is the number that predicts cancellation: a member who came four times a week in January and once last week is telling you something a month before the direct debit does. That is the real return here, more than any reward.

The lapse is visible early
An inactivity trigger can message a member who has not checked in for a fortnight, while they still think of themselves as someone who goes.
No cards to print or replace
The pass is issued when they join and cannot be left at home. Tier changes update the card in place.
Class packs and guest passes
The card is one identity at the door whether the member is on a monthly plan or a ten-class block.
The honest objections
We already have a gym management system. Why another thing?
This does not replace it, and it does not take payments — that stays where it is. What it adds is the wallet pass and the lock screen, which most gym systems either do not offer or gate behind their own app that members will not install. If your existing system already issues Apple Wallet passes and tracks attendance, you probably do not need this.
Our door has a turnstile with fobs.
Then keep the turnstile. The pass is still worth having as the member's identity for classes, guest passes and messaging — but if attendance is already captured at the door, the strongest argument for this drops away and you should weigh it on the messaging alone.
Questions
Can members be moved between tiers?
Yes, and the pass in their wallet updates itself — they do not re-add anything.
Can I take membership payments through Fidei?
No. There is no payment provider connected yet, so billing stays wherever it is today. This is an honest gap and we would rather say so than let you find out after signing up.
Does check-in work with more than one studio?
Yes, up to your plan's location limit — one on Starter, three on Growth, ten on Premium.
